Working Principle of Cement Screw Conveyor
The core components of the screw conveyor are the screw shaft, the screw blades and the closed shell. The concrete is conveyed from the feed port to the discharge port by the rotation of the screw blades. The motor drives the screw shaft to rotate through the reducer, and the screw blades rotate accordingly. The rotation of the screw blades generates axial thrust, pushing the material from the feed port to the discharge port of the conveyor. The closed pipe or U-shaped groove of the conveyor ensures that the material moves in the specified direction to avoid leakage, while reducing environmental pollution and material waste. By adjusting the speed and inclination of the screw blades, it can adapt to concrete of different consistencies.

Material feeding
The material enters the conveyor from the feed port, and the feed amount can be controlled by controlling the valve or frequency conversion speed regulation; in order to facilitate the smooth entry of the material, the feed port is located at one end of the conveyor, and the material is fed by the silo, mixing station, manual feeding or other upstream equipment.
Material conveying
After the motor is started, the screw shaft drives the blades to rotate, so that the material is thrust and moves forward continuously and steadily along the direction of the screw shaft. During the conveying process, in order to ensure uniformity, the material will also be subjected to a certain amount of stirring and mixing to avoid material accumulation or blockage.
Material unloading
After the concrete reaches the discharge port, it is discharged from the discharge port by gravity or a discharge valve. After discharge, it can enter the concrete mixer, hopper, storage bin, etc. In order to meet different construction needs, the discharge port is generally designed to be fixed or movable.
