Main Components Of Cement Mixer Truck
Chassis
To provide power and support for vehicle operation, a heavy-duty concrete mixer truck chassis is usually used, and the frame is welded with high-strength steel to support the weight of the mixing drum and concrete, with high load capacity and the ability to adapt to complex road conditions.
Mixing Drum
The container for loading concrete is the core component of the mixer truck, made of high-strength steel plates, with double spiral blades welded on the inner wall, in a conical or pear shaped structure, used for mixing concrete during transportation.
Hydraulic System
Adopt international top brand in hydraulic driving filed, such as Germany, Italian, American brand with integral structure ,excellent performance, to meet customers’ various special need.
Feed Inlet And Discharge Chute
The feeding port is located at the tail of the mixing drum and is used to add materials into the mixing drum. The rear of the mixer truck is equipped with a discharge chute, which can be manually or hydraulically controlled to adjust the angle accurately and guide the concrete to be discharged smoothly.
Control System
Located inside the cab, it integrates buttons, handles, display screens, etc. to control the mixer drum speed, tilt angle and other functions of the mixer truck. It adopts three-point control, linkage inside the cab and on both sides of the tail to achieve control of the mixer drum, which is flexible, convenient and fast.
Water Tank System
Have various volume water tanker, can feed the water mixing and cleaning, enlarged water pipe and various feeding solution. Can convenient customer, water feeding solution can use air pressure ,reducer pump ,electronic pump, etc, can meet different requirement.
Blade anti-wear protection
Modified logarithmic helical curve type of blade .In light of special need of wear resistance, all blades are mounted with anti-wear protection parts, not only prolonging vehicle life, but also synchronizing the wear of drum and blades. Blades are made of special cold-forming pressing molder, welded with drum body by new welding process without obvious trance.
How Does a Concrete Mixer Truck Work?
The working principle of a concrete mixing truck is divided into three stages, namely loading, transportation, and unloading, mainly based on its internal transmission system and hydraulic system; The ready mix concrete truck injects concrete raw materials into the mixing drum through its loading system. The inner spiral blades evenly push the material towards the inside of the cylinder, ensuring full loading and no segregation.
During transportation, the rotation speed of the mixing drum is adjustable, which ensures that the concrete always maintains fluidity and uniformity, preventing it from solidifying or layering due to stillness. The control system adjusts the rotation direction and speed of the mixing drum in real time to meet different construction needs.
When the heavy-duty concrete mixer truck arrives at the construction site, the driver adjusts the tilt angle of the mixing drum through the control system and uses the force of the hydraulic system to tilt the mixing drum, thereby unloading the concrete to the designated position. After unloading, the water tank system automatically flushes the residue inside the drum to avoid hardening and clumping, preparing for the next transportation.
How much is a Ready mix Concrete Truck?
The concrete mixer truck price is influenced by various factors, including brand, model, capacity, configuration, and market region. The larger the capacity of the mixing tank, the higher the price. Imported chassis are about 20% to 50% more expensive than domestic chassis. Small and medium-sized concrete mixer trucks with a capacity between 3 and 8 cubic meters typically have a market price ranging from $30000 to $90000; The price of large mixer trucks is usually above $90000.
When purchasing a concrete mixing truck, it is recommended to consider multiple factors such as budget, brand reputation, configuration, and project requirements comprehensively. EPDAS is a well-known Chinese brand supplier of concrete mixer trucks, and our prices have significant advantages; By optimizing the production process and improving production efficiency, we can provide customers with more competitive prices. Advantages of Mobile Transit Mixer Truck
Efficient Automated Production
Compared to traditional manual mixing and transportation, the automatic concrete mixer truck can transport a large amount of concrete to the construction site in a shorter time, shortening the construction period. It adopts a mechanized production method, which can automate the mixing, transportation, and unloading processes of concrete, significantly improving production efficiency.
Strong Adaptability
The cement mixer truck can transport various types of concrete, and for different scale engineering projects such as road construction, bridge construction, and house construction, the drum mixer truck can adapt well and provide the required concrete. Even if transported for a long time, it can effectively prevent concrete layering and ensure uniformity and plasticity when it arrives at the construction site.
Safe And Reliable
The operation of a concrete truck for construction is relatively simple, equipped with sensors and GPS to monitor the concrete status and vehicle position in real time. Operators only need to press the buttons on the control panel to complete all operations; Safety has been considered in the design, and safety measures such as dual safety control have been adopted to ensure safety during transportation and unloading processes.
Humanization Design
Lighting device: human-oriented large power tail working lamp at rear part, not only meeting special requirement for night working ,but also ensuring safety of personnel and vehicle.
Step area: adopt pressed steel and attractive appearance, reasonable handrail ensuring safety.
Self-locking in cab, to prevent from mistake operation and ensure security.
Smart equipment: remote operation, water metering, tank mouth seal etc.
Economy And Environmental Friendliness
Transit mixer trucks can accurately calculate transportation volume and reduce concrete waste; Automated mixing can reduce the labor input of manual mixing. Compared to on-site mixing, pre mixed concrete can reduce dust, and modern car models use noise reduction technology to reduce noise pollution, making it more environmentally friendly.
