Main Components Of Concrete Boom Pump
Chassis
The chassis is usually composed of a dedicated truck chassis or a heavy truck chassis. It is responsible for the movement and support of the entire vehicle and is the basic load-bearing part of the boom pump truck. The chassis is equipped with a multi-axis drive system, has strong load-bearing capacity and off-road performance, and can adapt to complex road conditions.
Boom System
The boom system consists of a multi-section boom, and the end of the boom is equipped with a delivery pipe and hose. Through hydraulic control of the boom’s extension, folding, rotation and other actions, the concrete is accurately delivered to the high altitude or distance of the construction site; the boom supports 360° rotation and has high flexibility.
Pumping System
Including core components such as hydraulic pumps, delivery cylinders, and concrete pistons, the pumping system is responsible for sucking concrete from the hopper and delivering it to the end of the boom through pipelines, ensuring that concrete can be efficiently and continuously supplied at the construction site, adapting to different construction needs, and is the core part of the boom pump truck.
Hydraulic System
Adopting a fully hydraulically controlled reversing hydraulic system, the pumping and S-tube distribution reversing action does not require the participation of electrical signals, the reversing impact is small, the noise is low, and the service life of the hydraulic pump and hydraulic valve is significantly improved. The intermediate link of the electric control signal is eliminated, which greatly improves the operating reliability of the entire set of equipment.
Conveying Pipeline
The concrete conveying pipe is composed of steel pipes, rubber pipes and pipe joints, etc., which are mainly used to transport concrete from the pumping main engine to the pipeline at the end of the boom; the conveying pipe is made of high-strength wear-resistant materials, has a long service life, a smooth inner wall, and a hose at the end, which is convenient for precise pouring.
Outrigger System
Cement boom pump truck usually has four outriggers, which can be independently extended and leveled to provide sufficient support. The outrigger system is used to support the stability of the concrete pump truck. It is equipped with a pressure sensor and an automatic leveling function to prevent the pump truck from tilting or overturning, ensuring the stability and safety of the equipment.
Control System
The control system is responsible for the operation and monitoring of the entire vehicle. It uses an intelligent control panel and wireless remote control, supports touch screen operation and multi-language switching, and allows operators to operate the pump truck away from it, ensuring the operator’s safety, flexibility and efficiency.
How Does a Concrete Pump Truck Work?
The working principle of the concrete pumping machine is to combine advanced technologies in electronic control, hydraulics, mechanics, etc., and realize efficient and accurate delivery of concrete through precise command control of the intelligent control system. Concrete first enters the pumping system through the hopper. Driven by the hydraulic pump, the piston reciprocates, sucks the concrete in and delivers it to the end of the boom through the high-pressure pipeline. The operator adjusts the length and swing position of the boom through the hydraulic control system to accurately deliver the concrete to the target area of the construction site. During work, the operator monitors the equipment status in real time to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the pumping process. At the same time, the safety system will provide overload protection and limit alarms to ensure safe operation.
